"Cooking Made Simple"
This is the quickest basic chili recipe I have made for dinner in a long time. I added half a can of tomato paste to thicken up the chili, and this made it perfect. Keep Sharing!

Ingredients

1 1/4 Pound Ground Beef
1 Large Onion, Chopped
3 Tomatoes, Chopped
2 Cups Cooked Kidney Beans
1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese *
Sour Cream *
Chopped Green Peppers *
Directions for Basic Chili Recipe

- In a pan, cook the beef until browned
- Add in the onions and remaining ingredients
- Simmer on low heat for 25 minutes
- Garnish with optional ingredients ( * )


Basic Chili Recipe

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
1 1/2 cups water
1 pinch chili powder
1 pinch garlic powder
salt and pepper to tast


- In a pan, cook the ground beef and onions until browned and tender
- Add in the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, water, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
- Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes
