The chili cheeseburger recipe turned out very moist. This has a bit of sweetness in chile sauces I think the next time I make this I'll add more heat.

Ingredients
1 1/2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
3-4 Green Chile's, Chopped
1 Small Onion, Sliced
1 Small Tomato, Sliced
1 Clove Garlic, Finely Minced
Fresh Cracked Pepper
1 Pinch Salt
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce or Teriyaki Sauce
Onion Burger Buns [Optional]
Jalapeno Peppers [Optional]
Directions for Chili Cheeseburger Recipe
- In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper
- Blend well and form patties
- Grill the patties to desired temperature
- Top with sliced tomatoes, onions, chilies and cheese a couple minutes before done
Chili Cheeseburger Recipe
2 pounds ground chuck, 80 percent to 85 percent lean
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
8 thin slices Chihuahua or provolone
4 good-quality hamburger buns, toasted
Green Chili Sauce, recipe follows
Romaine lettuce leaves, optional
4 thick slices beefsteak tomatoes, optional
Pickled jalapenos, optiona
- Turn grill on to high heat
- Form the patties while seasoning with salt and pepper
- Grill the burgers until desired temperature
- Place 2 slices of chesse on each burger
- Top with green chile sauce, lettuce, tomato, and jalepenos
