A white chili recipe can be a great alternative to the classic beef chili. The chicken always comes out tender and the monterey jack cheese is a nice touch.

Ingredients for White Chili Recipe
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cooked, boneless chicken breast half, chopped
3 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
2 (4 ounce) cans canned green chile peppers, chopped
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
5 cans Northern beans, undrained
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions for White Chili Recipe
- Heat up the olive oil in a large sauce pan
- Saute the garlic and onions until tender
- Add in the green chili peppers, chicken cayenne, chicken brother, cumin, and oregano
- Bring the white chili to a boil
- Reduce heat and add in beans
- Simmer for 30-40 minutes
- Serve with montery jack cheese
